Burying non-native invasive plants – when do I need a permit?

On 23 November Environment Agency published on-line their Regulatory Position Statement (RPS) 178 for the treatment and disposal of invasive non-native plants. If your proposed treatment works can comply with the conditions of RPS 178 then you can dispose of invasive non-native plant material and the substrate in which it is rooted without a permit.
